BOOK AN APPOINTMENT AT THE EMBASSY OF SPAIN IN GHANA

Every applicant applying for a Schengen visa to travel to Spain for a short term has to appear in person to hand in the application at the Embassy of Spain in Accra, Ghana. Please follow the steps listed below for scheduling an appointment:

	Pay the VFS service charge of Euro 6.00, equivalent to GHC as per the current exchange rate, at the GT Bank Branches.
	The GT Bank will give you a receipt for the amount paid. This receipt will have a unique number which needs to be used for booking an appointment at the Spanish Embassy.
	When you go to the VFS Spain appointment booking website enter the Unique receipt number from the GT Bank receipt and click ‘OK’ go to the appointment calendar page.
	Select a date and press ‘OK’. This will confirm your appointment.
	On successful scheduling of your appointment take a print of the appointment
	Please print it legibly on a clear paper and carry it to the Embassy of Spain in Ghana, Drake Avenue, extension, Airport Residential Area, Accra, Ghana 15 minutes before your scheduled time along with your visa application and complete documents as per the checklist.

Reschedule Appointment: You are allowed to reschedule your appointment only once. Rescheduling is allowed only till 2 working days prior to your initial scheduled date of appointment. Further change in date will be considered as a fresh appointment and a new service charge payment will have to be made. 

Cancel Appointment: In case you wish to cancel your appointment you forfeit the service fee paid to VFS. In order to make a new appointment you will have to make the payment again.

PLEASE NOTE:

	1.	The service fee paid to VFS will not be refunded under any circumstances.
	2.	Applicants can book appointment on the website only after 24 hours of making the payment at the GT Bank.
	3.	The payment receipt is valid for only 30 days. Once the receipt expires applicant has to make a new payment at the bank to book appointment..
