Every applicant applying for a Schengen visa to travel to Spain for short term or long term has to appear in person to hand in the application at the Consulate General of Spain in-his designated jurisdiction. Please follow the steps listed below for scheduling an appointment: 
Call the call centre at +1 (703) 865-2694 or click here to go to the appointment calendar page.
Select a date and make the VFS Service Charge payment online or through the IVR. This will confirm your appointment.
When you have successfully scheduled an appointment, your Confirmation Letter will be sent to you via email. If you do not receive a Confirmation Letter via email, your appointment was not booked successfully. Please call our call center for assistance at +1 (703) 865-2694.
Please print this Confirmation Letter and bring it with you to the Consulate -10 minutes before your scheduled time, along with your visa application and all required documents, as per the checklist.

Rescheduling an Appointment: You are allowed to reschedule your appointment only once. Rescheduling is allowed up until 2 working days prior to your initial scheduled date of appointment. Further change in date will be considered as a new appointment and a new service charge payment will have to be made.

Cancel Appointment: If you wish to cancel your appointment you forfeit the service fee paid to VFS. In order to make a new appointment you will have to make the payment again.

Important: Only applicants who live within the Miami jurisdiction may book an appointment for the Consulate in Miami. Your application will not be accepted if you live outside of the jurisdiction. To confirm which Consulate you must apply to
